the comment from Mark’s Daily Apple makes sense to me - I think I’ve been restricting my carbs TOO much.  I feel better having increased the veggie intake - I was at Atkins-esque restriction levels with the carbs.  Let’s see if I manage to reset my body’s “fat setpoint”.

turns out avocados have between 15 and 30 g of carbs each! DISASTER! I have about a million avocados and they have become a kind of default food.
