Had two chocolate cheats since the thing began.
Unfortunately, also had an EPIC asthma attack brought on by bronchitis that left me out of exercising commission for a few days. Horrendous. I’m not sure if I’ll make it back into the gym today or wait till tomorrow. Just got home from Miami...

Today I have a headcold. I wonder if my new year’s celebration beginning at 9 AM on Saturday and ending at approximately midnight on Sunday/Monday (with a few hours’ nap) has anything to do with this state of affairs.

ankle update
My posterior tibial tendon still functions, but has longitudinal tears in several places.
The orthopedist at Harkness Center for Dance Injuries, who saw me two years ago when this problem first surfaced, recommended surgery since the situation has only worsened since the initial injury in 2009.
Despite feeling that surgery is No Fun At All, I am definitely on board for this plan and am...

Saturday: 45 minutes of hill insanity on the stationery bike and then another short (~7 mi) but brisk ride up the Hudson river at 1 AM

HELLO! Long time no see/post/etc.
It’s been an interesting couple of years. Back around this time in 2009 when I was competing in the CF Games I was also busy dealing with the first signs of my disintegrating post-tib tendon. Tried to heal it, got the boot, yadda yadda, wonky gait sped up lumbar herniations…healed that business (quite well, I must say) and now it’s 2011.

102 was the result of a non-fasting test. The people who tested me assured this was good. They had never heard of paleo eating and told me that sugar consumption (or relative lack thereof) had nothing to do with ones...

Partying lifting and dancing did not occur yesterday due to working, apartment hunting, and exhaustion.
Lots of good cooking did though.
I am standing outside the gym trying to psych myself up. Still not caught up on sleep.
